Questions
FAQ
How do I acquire a piece?
Each piece is available by inquiry only. Reach out via Instagram (@guidogiger) or by email to express your interest. Guido responds personally to every inquiry.
Are prices displayed?
Prices are shared privately upon inquiry. This is intentional — each piece is unique and pricing reflects the materials, time, and craft involved.
How many pieces are made each month?
Production is capped at approximately six pieces per month. This is a deliberate choice to maintain quality and the integrity of each work.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. The studio is based in Manila, Philippines, and pieces be shipped worldwide. Shipping details are discussed as part of the inquiry process.
What woods are used?
Guido works primarily with tropical and exotic hardwoods — including Kamagong (Philippine Ebony), Paldao, White Ash, Narra, and Padauk. Each wooden bag lists its specific materials on the piece page.
Are pieces functional as bags?
Yes. Despite being sculptural objects, each piece is designed to be carried and worn. Wooden purses, wooden clutch bags, and wood purses all open, close, and function as bags while holding their integrity as wearable sculptures.
Are these non-leather bags?
Yes. Every Guido Giger piece is entirely wood — there is no leather, fabric, or synthetic material in the primary structure. These are non-leather designer bags for collectors who want something genuinely different.
